“1000-Lb Sisters” star pregnant Amy Slaton admitted that she is still smoking cigarettes. The 34-year-old TV personality vowed that she is going to “cut down” before welcoming her second baby with her husband Michael Halterman.

“I’m not drinking alcohol. I used to smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, like 20, now I’m down to about five a day. I’m trying to cut down,” Amy told The Sun Wednesday.

It is not surprising for fans that not only Amy but the entire family smokes. However, Amy switched to vaping in the past but ended up going back to the cigarettes again.

  1. I know it’s hard, but think of your baby. Glad you are down to 5 a day, and I know it’s your choice. When I became pregnant, my husband tossed all the ashtrays. Matches, and told me if anything was wrong with our new baby. It was my fault for smoking. I quit and I’m glad. Saves you $$$also. Best of luck with your new baby.

  2. I would really like to see her quit altogether but I at least give her credit for cutting back to 5 instead of 20. But Amy…..if you can do that, you can call it quits! But not until you really want to. I pray that you will get to that point really soon. Secondhand smoke can be harmful too. Please think about that. Keep trying!
