The season 4 of The Masked Singer kicked off on Fox last month. The top-secret singing competition has fans going crazy trying to figure out, who is Seahorse.
While fans are thinking extra hard and trying to find out who is singing underneath the Seahorse costume, we have listed a few clues and fan theories that are currently floating around the internet.
Host Nick Cannon and the panelists comprising Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy made returned for the new season. One of the contestants that impressed them this past episode was Seahorse, but who does the panel think it is?
The moment they sang, it was clear this was a female singer who does this for a living. Considering that Seahorse sported cowboy hat and boots throughout the performance, it could be a country star.
Furthermore, Seahorse was seen sipping coffee/tea by a campfire along with a dove, a frog, and two dogs opposite them. Aside from that, we could see a hog with warts in one frame, hinting at some sort of relation with Harry Potter.
When it came to guessing who it could be, they were on the same page as everyone else, knowing this was an established star. Taking the clues into consideration, McCarthy guessed it was Halsey because she even noticed the rainbow frog and she thought the phrase “fire burning inside” was a reference to her song entitled, “Angel On Fire.”
Scherzinger thought it was actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld, but Thicke went with Bebe Rexha as she has had recent success in country music with “Meant to Be,” which was also nominated for Grammy Award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Although the panel was on the right path, their guesses weren’t spot on.
All the clue hint at the two-time Grammy Award winner Tori Kelly, who has performed with Kermit, which explains the frog’s appearance. Moreover, she has a pet poodle and has a song called “City Dove,” which is why the animals were shown sitting at the campfire.
Regardless of whether Seahorse was having tea or coffee, it relates to Kelly. She has been hosting lives with other celebrities dubbed, “QuaranTEA” as seen on her Instagram, and also has a song on her latest studio album called “Coffee,” A Twitterati explained why Seahorse could be Tori Kelly because the video has a scene where a hog with warts is shown, noting that she has always been a huge Harry Potter fan.

“Seahorse on The Masked Singer may be wearing heels & dancing with dancers but u not fooling me ms. tori kelly,” one user wrote. “A seahorse costume is not going to stop me from recognizing Tori Kelly’s voice,” another added.
