Lilibet 1St Birthday Coincides With Queen Elizabeth’s Jubilee

On June 4, Lili will turn one year old. On the same weekend, the UK will be hosting festivities celebrating the Queen’s 70 years on the throne.

Moreover, the anniversary of the Queen’s 1953 coronation will take place at Westminster Abbey on June 2, just two days before Lili’s first birthday.

It’s been 16 months since Elizabeth ascended to the throne after the sudden passing of her father, King George VI. She was understandably in a mourning period at the time.

Now, the Platinum Jubilee will be taking place from June 2 until June 5. Moreover, the event will be graced by festivities like the BBC’s Platinum Party at the Palace, a Derby attendance at Epsom Downs, and Trooping the Color. Watch this space for the latest Royal Family news.
