Meghan Markle and her husband Prince Harry’s Archewell Productions has roped in Chanel Pysnik as Head of Unscripted. The former Disney+ exec will be reporting to Ben Browning and will be in charge of nonfiction series and documentary film productions. She will be working closely with Netflix, where the company is under a deal.
Chanel Pysnik started in May and has now joined the growing production team at Archewell. The team is graced by Bennett Levine, who had joined Archewell Productions as Coordinator in the spring, per Deadline. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex founded the company in 2020 in a bid to produce programming that not only entertain, but also uplifts audiences.

Meghan and Prince Harry want to focus on entertaining audiences by accepting shared humanity and building community through similar experiences, universal values, as well as powerful narratives. Archewell Productions teamed up with Netflix for its first two projects including Heart of Invictus and Pearl.
Heart of Invictus is a docu-series executive produced by Prince Harry in collaboration with The Invictus Games Foundation. Pearl, on the other hand, is an animated adventure series executive produced by the former Suits actress.

Pysnik has served as Director of International Content for Disney+ in the past. There. she helped launch the platform internationally while supervising its unscripted series and documentaries in markets outside the United States. Pysnik was at CNN for six years, where she led development for CNN and HLN Original Series.
She worked on a myriad of projects such as CNN’s American Dynasties: The Kennedys, Disney+’s David Beckham-led series Save Our Squad, Lincoln: Divided We Stand, and The Story of Late Night.
