This was a big week for Teddi Mellencamp, full of life-changing events. The 39-year-old actress and her husband Edwin Arroyave bought a new home in L.A. on Thursday, the same day the reality star announced she will not be returning Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
Listed by Gina Michelle and George Ouzounian of The Agency, the Encino home is an 8,550 square-foot modern farmhouse, which the company bought for nearly $6.5 million. The home comprises seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen with two islands, a second prep kitchen, and an entryway featuring 24-foot ceilings.
Aside from that, the property has a basketball court, putting green, a pool adorned with a waterfall. As if that weren’t enough, it has cabana and fireplace lounge that are situated next to the pool, and a massage room.
Teddi found her new dream home with help from RHOBH costar Kyle Ricard’s husband Mauricio Umansky, and daughter Farrah Brittany, who are both agents at the Agency. Teddi and Edwin listed their Hollywood home back in Aug., PEOPLE reported.
Earlier this week, Teddi confirmed that her contract on RHOBH wasn’t renewed after 3 seasons on the show. “I recently found out that my contract as a Housewife is not being renewed,” she revealed in an Instagram video. Musician John Mellencamp made her debut on the Bravo show in 2017.
She admitted that she was sad after receiving the news, saying it almost felt like a breakup because of the strong relationships she had developed with the cast and crew. Moreover, Teddi said the show allowed her to do incredible things that she would never get to experience without the show.
Amid the sad news, Teddi said she is looking forward to the future, and deviate her focus on her family and friends. She went on to say that she has some pretty exciting things ahead, and her daughter Dove, 6, keeps her busy. She thanked her fans for being part of her journey with her, promising to see them soon.
