‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Trailer Leaked: Sony Takes Action Against Hackers

Sony was in work mode this Sunday. Supposedly, a leaked trailer of the upcoming film “Spider-Man: No Way Home” was on popular social media sites.

Apart from that the unauthorized trailer of “SpiderMan” made its way on Twitter. As expected, netizens notably started to post meme-worthy tweets and reacted to the leaked video. Likewise, the news of the leaked trailer traveled to TikTok.

Moreover, Sony and Marvel Studios haven’t officially launched a trailer for the film yet. Having said that, Marvel fans were quick to lose their calm over the leaked trailer. On the other hand, the illegal Spider-Man film teaser is a trending topic on the microblogging site Twitter.

Sony Takes Action

Firstly, Sony had to control the illegal video from spreading on social media. On top of that, the media firm identified the profiles that published the leaked video and struck the video as a copyright violation.

In conclusion, Twitter had to agree to Sony’s terms and take down media clips of the unauthorized trailer of “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. The posts were replaced with the message “The media has been disabled in response to a report from the copyright owner”.

“Spider-Man: No Way Home”: The Quality of the Leaked Trailer

Notably, the leaked trailer of “SpiderMan: No Way Home” seemed like a mobile recorded version. Apart from that, the illegal video was with a watermark with someone’s name imprinted over it.

Sony’s “SpiderMan: No Way Home” is slated to release in theaters on Dec. 17, 2021. The film features Tom Holland in the role of Peter Parker. Above all the movie is the most anticipated launch from the Marvel movie franchise.

Fans Social Media Reaction

The leak was one of the biggest ones to have occurred in the history of MCU. The incomplete CGI trailer resulted in Twitter Trends with the hashtag “#SpiderManNoWayHome”.

A fan tweeted “We all know who leaked that” with a picture of the star Scarlet Johanson (Natasha Romanoff from the MCU films) on a laptop.

Apart from that, another fan commented “No way home trailer leaked??? LOL Fandom really said: #SpiderManNoWayHome”.

Next, an MCU fan chimed in “We better get the official version of #SpiderManNoWayHome trailer tomorrow morning”.

Whereas, Twitter user @teaplings tweeted “FULL LEAKED TRAILER – NOT FAKE. DOC OC APPEARS IN SPIDER-MAN NO WAY HOME TRAILER! #SpiderManNoWayHome”. Apart from that, the Twitter user @teaplings tweeted about Green Goblins’ return declaring “And I’m pretty sure those were green goblins bombs too!”

Notably, the official trailer may be released soon as star Tom Holland posted on Instagram with the caption “You Ain’t Ready!” It appears that MCU fans will not have to wait long for the trailer launch.
