Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have shared an awe-inspiring first portrait of their daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle unveiled the first portrait of their daughter, Lilibet to mark her first birthday. Lilibet celebrated her first birthday on Saturday, June 4.
The “casual, intimate backyard picnic” at the couple’s Frogmore Cottage home was graced by close friends and family. A spokesperson shared this piece of information on Monday.
The candid, “spontaneous photograph that the Duke and Duchess are pleased to share” was captured by photographer Misan Harriman. The British photographer was attending Lilibet’s party.

Moreover, the tiny tot’s birthday party cake was made by Baker Claire Ptak from East London’s Violet Bakery, as per People. To recap, Claire Ptak made Harry and Meghan’s wedding cake too.
Harriman shared the photo on Twitter with the caption, “It was such a privilege to celebrate the 1st birthday of Lilibet with my family and hers! Joy and face painting all around.”
In the first photo, Lilibet is sitting on the grass and seems to be the spitting image of her father. Meghan is holding Lilibet alongside Harriman’s family in the second photo.

Harriman revealed that Meghan and Harry were expecting Lili in February 2021. Royal correspondent, Omid Scobie claims that the portrait was released after “Sussex supporters around the world made donations amounting to over $100K” to World Central Kitchen in Lilibet’s honor.

The organization has a collaboration with Meghan and Harry’s Archwell Foundation. Moreover, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated their daughter’s birthday in the UK during Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.
