Khaby Lame has surpassed Addison Rae in terms of followers on TikTok. The viral sensation is now the second-most followed person on the popular video-sharing platform.

Considering his rapid rise in followers, he might soon beat Charli D’Amelio next. Since 2019, Addison Rae and Charli D’Amelio have been sharing a notable amount of followers between them, while enjoying huge popularity on TikTok.

They managed to stay on the first and second place on the most-followed list for a long time. However, that’s all changed after an unlikely entrant in the list, Khaby Lame.

This Italian TikToker reacts to some of the internet’s most useless life hacks, having the perfect wordless response to these weird videos. Each of his videos amasses millions of views, some of them over 100 million, per Dexerto.

In May, his follower count saw an incredibly rapid rise, with some predicting that he would soon overtake some of the internet’s biggest stars. That speculation proved to be true in July when the follower count overtook Addison Rae’s.

While Addison has 81.7 million followers, at the time of writing, Khaby has 82.8 million followers. Fans believe he will continue to snowball in popularity, and some suggest that he could even overtake Charli D’Amelio, who is the only person with more followers than him on the platform.
