Kendall Jenner Refuses To Comply With Liu Jo’s $1.8 Million Brand Deal

Kendall Jenner from the Kardashian clan is dealing with an alleged court claim by Liu Jo. The result of this backlash from the Italian fashion firm is due to Kendall’s lack of obliging to the slated photoshoot deal.

The New York City legal complaint reveals the model was paid $1.5 million with an additional 20% service fee for the deal. Liu Jo registered a judicial charge on Kendall. The highest-paid model failed to make an appearance for the second installment of the planned photoshoot.

The 25-year-old international affluent model fulfilled the requirements of the first shoot in July 2019. In addition, the second shoot was to take place in London in March 2020. This shoot dated for a time when the COVID-19 outbreak was starting to gain momentum.

Considering the limitations in travel liberty, Liu Jo and Kendall’s representatives consented to delay the London photoshoot to the 2020 fall season. Nearing the intended term for restoring the photoshoot, Liu Jo received the cold shoulder from the model for suggested dates and locations.

Kendall Jenner: Media Claims

Kendall’s representative explained to Page Six, “This suit is without merit. The Society Management, on behalf of Ms. Kendall Jenner, has continually offered Liu Jo alternative dates and locations to fulfill an agreement that was forced to be delayed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Jenner has willingly offered to complete services honoring her commitments.”

Media reports affirmed that Jenner repeatedly failed to provide Liu Jo with definitive responses. Moreover, Society Managements counter comments that Kendall obliges to fulfill her end of the deal with the renowned Italian brand.

Kendall: Keeping Up With The Conflict

Adding fuel to the fire, Kendal was keeping up with a different brand promotion shoot. In addition, the international model entertained guests by throwing a birthday bash in her Los Angeles estate in November 2020.

The fashion firm claims that ultimately Kendall discontinued any source of communication with the brand. After that, Kendall only reached out when Liu Jo notified the model that she breached her authorized settlement.

$1.35 million is acquired by Kendall for the business merits of the two photoshoots. Is Kendall’s reasoning for not attending the shoot justified? Let us know in the comments below.
