90 Day Fiance: Azan Tefou and Nicole Nafziger went through an arduous phase in their relationship from day one. Their long-distance relationship, Nicole having difficulties to make the time to meet Azan as she was a single parent, and the small quarrels between the couple were some of the major reasons.
In one episode, Azan Nicole and Azan were on a hike in the desert where Nicole found the walk to be physically difficult and she became breathless and eventually sat down which vexed Azan. Thus, he told Nicole to go to the gym. Azan told the producers that he was only 55% attracted to Nicole because of her unhealthy body type.
Yet Nicole stayed with Azan. She didn’t break-up with him after he was caught texting with other women or fighting with her mom. The couple was supposed to tie the knot in 2018 but they postponed the wedding for several reasons. Azan revealed to Nicole that he was sending flirtatious text messages to other women which dismayed her.
She also faced criticism from her adherents who were unable to understand her decision to stay with Azan. The situation deteriorated in such a manner that the couple decided not to return to the next season of the reality show and Nicole vowed to never appear on TV again.
As of 2020, Nicole and Azan are still in a relationship. Nicole went to Morocco to meet Azan and got stuck for months because of Covid-19 lockdowns. But despite their years-long relationship, they haven’t yet publicly discussed plans for a wedding. Nicole isn’t stressing about her wedding.
