Kalani and Asuelu of 90 Day Fiance are revealing the real reason why they have issues with Asuel’s mother, Lesina, and sister, Tammy.
A clip from Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Bares All revolved around how much money Asuelu has already given to his mother. Both Lesina and Tammy have often complained about Asuelu not giving them enough money.
Tammy hasn’t shied away from admitting in earlier episodes that she thinks her brother should be giving more money to their mother and their Samoa-based family. In fact, Lesina has constantly demanded it.
However, Kalani has been opposing Asuelu giving more money to his mother and sister than he can afford. She constantly reminds him that they are struggling to take care of their two kids as well.
Kalani Doesn’t Want Asuelu To Give His Mom More Money
Nevertheless, Kalani acknowledges that her husband relied on his mother’s money when he was living in Samoa. “I think Tammy just doesn’t like what Asuelu gives because Tammy has given a lot of money in the past,” Kalani says in the exclusive clip shared by ET.
“I think that now that Asuelu is in America, she’s kind of trying to pass that off to him.”
She added, “I mean, I don’t think Asuelu would have survived growing up without her money, like, he basically lived off Tammy’s money when he was in Samoa.”
However, Asuelu reveals that he has already given a considerable amount of money to his mother. The reality TV star revealed that he used to give his whole paycheck before moving to America to be with Kalani.
How Much Money Has Asuelu Given His Family So Far?
The amount that he has given his family so far converts roughly to about $600 to $700 a month. In other words, Asuelu has given around $15,000 until now. On top of that, he cleaned his whole bank account and gave it to Lesina before moving to the United States.
Kalani notes that all the money he has given to his mom is for the family. “It’s also bingo money, church fundraisers, church events,” she says.
