Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel recently opened up about moving houses, revealing that once a man carrying a crowbar broke into his house. The Twitch star returned to streaming from a new location on July 14.
xQc divulged details about what was happening behind the scenes at Chance ‘Sodapoppin’ Morris and his old house. The legendary Twitch streamer said that he decided to move out citing daily police swattings.
These encounters reached an alarming point where xQc began to fear for his life. This led to him moving out. Interestingly, the swattings seem to have had the opposite effect than what his fans would think, per Dexerto.
“When I said the house was getting swatted a lot, it does the exact opposite of what you think it would do,” he said. “It kinda gets worse believe it or not.”
Even when he moved to Sodapoppin’s place, the madness didn’t fade, putting people living with him in danger. He revealed that things got worse.
“The swatting was happening a lot and then some person went to my old house and broke into it with a crowbar. And apparently he was looking for me!” the French Canadian revealed. “So, at that point it was like holy f**k, that’s pretty crazy.”
“Weird sh*t started happening at Soda’s house too,” he added. “I felt like it was unfair for everybody around me that I’m putting them in danger.”
Later in his stream, xQc shed more light on the armed intruder’s motives, saying, “he was asking for me or some sh*t.”
“He was yelling that I owned something of his or whatever,” he added. I looked at all my DMs and there was nothing, so I don’t really understand it. He kinda just came out of nowhere.”
The former Overwatch League pro indicated that he might even sell his house because he simply wants to stream and have fun. Instead, he is currently worrying about all these strange things happening to him. We hope wherever he moves into next will not have all these unusual issues.
