Actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma’s former manager Disha Salian committed suicide by jumping off a building on June 8.
Sushant made the shocking revelation in his Instagram story writing, “It’s such devastating news. My deepest condolences to Disha’s family and friends. May your soul rest in peace.” Disha Salian reportedly jumped off a building in Malad, Mumbai on Monday.
She was rushed to the hospital in Borivali but was declared dead. Fukrey star Varun Sharma posted a throwback picture to his Instagram. He captioned the post: “Am at a loss of words. Speechless, numb. It all looks unreal. So many memories. Such a lovely person and a dear friend. You always wore that smile every day and with such kindness, you dealt with everything that came your way. You will be deeply missed. Prayers and strength to the family. I still can’t believe Disha you’re gone. Gone too soon.”
Several Bollywood celebrities including Huma Qureshi, Mouni Roy, and Sonakshi Sinha paid condolences to Disha Salian. In the comments section of Varun Sharma’s post, Sonakshi Sinha posted a broken heart, while Mouni Roy wrote, “Still in shock. May her soul rest in peace.” Huma Qureshi wrote, “Unreal .. RIP.”
In addition to Sushant Singh Rajput and Varun Sharma, Disha Salian reportedly managed the work of Mere Dad Ki Maruti actress Rhea Chakraborty and comedian Bharti Singh.
