‘Sister Wives’: Kody Brown Shifts The Blame To God For Polygamy Mess

Sister Wives star and polygamy patriarch Kody Brown is blaming God for his plural marriage becoming what he deems a “mess.”

Sister Wives spoilers suggest that Kody Brown could be gearing up for a major change in his polygamy lifestyle. After his split from Christine Brown, the reality TV star is likely to abandon his plural marriages, choose a new life, and maybe even a new wife.

Sister Wives Star Kody Brown Blames God

Kody is extremely angry with God at the moment. Moreover, he expresses his frustration as seen in the upcoming Sister Wives reunion show spoilers (via Page Six).

Furthermore, he even hints at replacing his three wives, Robyn, Janelle, and Meri, with traditional husband-and-wife marriage.

“When you really start getting honest, you start looking up to the heavens and going, ‘Geez, Father. You inspired me to do this. Why is it such a mess now?’” Kody confessed.

Aside from that, the 52-year-old reality TV star addressed his split from his third wife, Christine, who felt the polygamy lifestyle wasn’t living up to her expectations.

Kody says Christine’s departure “really has set me on my heels and had me questioning the lifestyle itself.”

“It’s a challenge,” he adds.

Reunion host Sukanya Krishnan then asks Kody if he is planning to end his polygamy practice. Kody replies, saying, Oh, hell yes — yes.”

Kody Brown May Ditch Polygamist Lifestyle

Sukanya goes on to ask Kody if he is currently questioning whether he wants a plural marriage for his future. Kody replies saying, “I question it all the time.”

After Christine gave up polygamy, Janelle has been struggling with what she describes as “soul searching.” Despite more challenges popping up amid the coronavirus lockdown, Kody remained in the polygamy marriage.

Now, Kody’s fourth wife Robyn is understandably worried about her own future, considering that Kody could leave her if he goes for a one-on-one relationship.

“If he doesn’t love plural marriage, what does he do?” she questioned. “That’s three of us or all of us that he moves on from, and we’ve seen that in our culture.”

Robyn noted that all of Kody’s wives are familiar with situations “where a man decides he’s done living plural marriage and he leaves all of his wives or leaves all but one.”

“And he goes and starts a new life. He’s tired of it.”

Interestingly, Kody’s first wife, Meri is still calm. For her, a relationship with Kody still holds “value.” However, she admits that Kody can choose to “give up” polygamy and there’s nothing she can do about it.
