In a new video, Christine Brown took a hilarious jab at her polygamist lifestyle with her estranged husband Kody Brown, The Sister Wives star had a critical remark about a hairstyle usually sported by women who practice plural marriage.

Christine Mocks Polygamist Lifestyle

In an Instagram Stories video on March 23, Christine gave her followers a glimpse of her blonde locks tied off into tight French braids on either side of her head.

“Why is it some people can pull off the double French braid, but some can’t?” she asked.

Obviously, I can’t really do as well as my daughters. My daughters can pull off this so cute, but me? I just look like a polygamist,” she added.

Christine went on to cynically note, “How ironic!” considering how she spent has past 25 years in a polygamist lifestyle with Kody. 

Christine And Kody’s Split

Christine left her polygamist marriage with Kody in late 2021. On November 2, she made her split Instagram official.

“After more than 25 years together, Kody and I have grown apart and I have made the difficult decision to leave,” she announced in the Instagram statement.

“We will continue to be a strong presence in each other’s lives as we parent our beautiful children and support our wonderful family,” she added.

Following their split, Christine and Kody’s son Paedon has confessed he doesn’t want to pursue a plural marriage lifestyle like his parents, as per a report by InTouch.

. “It’s not the life I want. I honestly don’t believe in it,” he shared during a February interview with the “Reality Life with Kate Casey” podcast.
