Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have donated to their town’s Christmas Parade, showing support for their new hometown.

Getting in the community holiday spirit, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made a notable contribution to their town’s new Christmas parade. This will be the first Annual Montecito Holiday Car Parade.

Last Monday, the community near Santa Barbara, California hosted the festive celebration. According to the Montecito Journal, the theme of the event was “Holiday Magic.”

The Journal claims that Harry and Meghan were the first donors of the parade. The festive celebration comprised brightly-lit cars adorned with wreaths, tinsel, and garlands.

Furthermore, the event was graced by a town Santa Claus, who handed out candy from a truck that was decorated completely with Christmas stars.

“Thanks to the many parade sponsors including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who were first to donate,” the announcement reads.

Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Move To Montecito

Harry, Meghan, and their son Archie moved into their estate in Montecito back in July last year. The couple has since welcomed their daughter Lilibet “Lili” Diana.

In Nov., Meghan appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where the former Suits actress opened up about the family’s move to California.

“He loves it. … We moved here during lockdown, exactly when things shut down, so we’ve just been able to spend a lot of time at home and creating our home, but I think it’s just the lifestyle and the weather is pretty great. But we’re just happy,” the duchess said about how Harry felt about their home.
