Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Patrick urged the Twitterverse to exclude him from any future conversations about Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

“Hello to the people and many bots debating all things Markle and including me in the conversation,” he tweeted.

“I just want you to know a couple of things. 1. I don’t read any of it. 2. Life is short. 3. There has to got to be better things for you to be doing. Even you, bots,” he wrote, adding the hashtag #botbetter.”

Meghan and Patrick played Rachel and Mike, respectively. The duo exited the US show together at the end of series seven after tying the knot.

Meghan left the show due her high profile relationship with Prince Harry, and went on to marry him in May 2018. Patrick and other castmates of Meghan were present at the royal couple’s wedding.

The actor had defended his onscreen wife following bullying accusations, Daily Star reported. The SAG Award nominee described Meghan as “kind” and “joyful” in a Twitter thread.

The tweet came days before Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s TV interview with Oprah Winfrey, which raised quite a few eyebrows. Furthermore, Patrick deemed Meghan as a powerful woman” with a “deep sense of morality.”

He described her as someone who has “never been afraid to speak up.”

“It sickened me to read the endless racist, slanderous, clickbaiting vitriol spewed in her direction from all manner of media across the UK and the world but I also knew that Meghan was stronger than people realized or understood and they would regret underestimating her,” the actor wrote.
