Meghan Markle and Prince Harry reportedly landed in the UK on September 3. The couple marked the trip to the country on a “commercial flight.”
The Royal couple has been living in the US for quite some time now. They recently announced that they’d be heading to the UK this month.
According to a spokesman, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will return temporarily to see “several charities close to their hearts.”
Meghan and Harry were spotted driving earlier today, with the Duke of Sussex in the drivers’ seat, courtesy of Hello! (via Express). However, the duration of their visit is still a mystery.
Furthermore, it is unclear whether the couple have brought their children Archie and Lili on the working trip. Notably, this will be the first time they have returned back to the UK after the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations in June.
Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Have Arrived In The UK
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend events in London and Manchester during their visit. Moreover, they will mark the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games in Germany.
It is unclear whether they will visit the Queen, who is currently at Balmoral amid “health and mobility” concerns.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla ended up attending the Highland Games since it is considered a prestigious event in the Queen’s calendar.
On Monday, Meghan and Harry will make their first stop in Manchester for the One Young World summit. Their week is teeming with a myriad of other engagements.
The Sussexes will stay at their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor. It will be interesting to see whether the Sussexes and the Cambridges will meet up since their home in Windsor is just a 15-minute walk from Cambridge’s new home at Adelaide Cottage.
A source claims that relations between Prince William and Prince Harry are not good. So, the brothers aren’t likely to see each other.
Ahead of the trip to the UK, Meghan had appeared for an in-depth interview with US magazine The Cut. During the interview, she said it takes “a lot of effort” to forgive and hinted that she can “say anything”.
