Meghan Markle is teaming up with company Archewell Productions to make a new animated show for Netflix. The show will center on the adventures of a young girl.

The working title of the show is Pearl, and it was announced by Archewell Productions. The former Suits actress shares Archewell Productions with her husband Prince Harry. The show will draw inspiration from influential women from throughout history, according to The Mirror.

Aside from Meghan, filmmakers Dan Cogan and Liz Garbus, Carolyn Soper, and Elton John’s husband David Furnish will serve as executive producers of the show. In April this year, Meghan and Harry divulged details about their first Netflix show, which was a docuseries about Harry’s Invictus Games.

Harry is a patron of the Invictus Games Foundation. He is also expected to make an appearance in the show and act as the series’ executive producer. 

“Since the very first Invictus Games back in 2014, we knew that each competitor would contribute in their own exceptional way to a mosaic of resilience, determination, and resolve.” Harry said at the time.

“This series will give communities around the world a window into the moving and uplifting stories of these competitors on their path to the Netherlands next year.

“As Archewell Productions’ first series with Netflix, in partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, I couldn’t be more excited for the journey ahead or prouder of the Invictus community for continuously inspiring global healing, human potential and continued service.”

Details about the new show are still few and far between. However, The Mirror suggests that it will be similar to Meghan’s recent children’s book The Bench. The book became a New York Times bestseller.
