Happy New Year Movie Review

Story: Shah Rukh Khan is son of Anupum Kher who had been trapped by Jackie Shroff and jailed. Shah Rukh (Charlie) wants to take revenge, he make a team of people who can help him. To take revenge he needs to enter a dance competition therefore after not able to learn from professional coaches they decide to call for a teacher who is bar dance – Mohini i.e. Deepika Padukone. How Charlie (SRK) takes his revenge is rest of the story.

Advertisements: Glad to see that Shah Rukh havn’t kept a lot of advertisements like other latest releases which is actually quite irritating for viewers.

Locations: Film has been shot in Dubai, locations are used beautifully. You can even call the second half of the movie as “Dubai Darshan”.

Acting: Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s chemistry was missing (might be because of the story, but that’s what viewers wanted to see, isn’t it?) Boman Irani is a fantastic actor, he did well as usual. Sonu Sood was perfect flaunting his abs. Abhishek Bachchan is someone in the movie to talk about because he plays a double role and did justice to both the roles. Vivaan Shah played a hacker, with less dialogues did a decent job.

Music: There are 8 tracks in the movie. Manwa Laage, India Waale and Lovely are the songs you can look for.

Final Verdict: If you are a Shah Rukh Khan fan its a treat to eyes. Its worth watching once.

Suggestion: If you are not a Shah Rukh Khan fan, after watching the movie you might come out finding for logic and emotions.
