Kim Kardashian and her husband Kanye West are leaving no stone unturned in a bid to save their marriage. Keeping in line with that effort, the couple took a private jet with their kids and flew to a tropical island just outside the country.
This trip is reportedly designed to make sure the famous couple does not get photographed. Sources with knowledge of this matter told TMZ the family is holed up in what can be touted as a “fortress.” This estate is so remote that it is virtually impossible for paparazzi to even get close.
This trip could be the final test on KimYe’s marriage. The pair have had hardly any contact over the last few months and Kanye’s remarks at the South Carolina campaign rally and Twitter rants clearly made things worse.
Kanye has been dealing with a lot of issues revolving around his health and relationship. The famous rapper has a reputation for not holding anything back when it comes to his Twitter rants. A lot of his fans believe that there have been tensions between him and Kris Jenner for quite some time now.
About three years ago, Kanye revealed that he has a bipolar disorder diagnosis. During an interview in 2018, he said his bipolar medication can pose a serious threat to his life and creative process, which is why he went off his medication for more than six months in the past.
The rapper has been very active on Twitter lately. In one of his now-deleted tweets, he revealed that divorce has been a topic of discussion between him and his wife Kim for a long time. He went on to share some very personal details about their marriage and personal life, but later publicly apologized to his wife via a tweet.
Some of his tweets targetted his mother in law Kris Jenner. Last month, he tweeted, “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday.”
Kanye then shifted his focus to Kris Jenner, and tweeted “Kriss [sic] don’t play with me you and that calmye are not allowed around my children Y’all tried to lock me up.” He even posted a screenshot of a text message that he sent to Kris about her avoiding his phone calls.
A recently surfaced footage suggests there may be some sort of negativity between Jenner and West for a while now. When old footage showing West struggling with a breakdown on Keeping Up With the Kardashians made its way on the internet again, people began to speculate about Jenner’s role and relationship with her son in law.
One source told PEOPLE, “He’s had huge blow-ups with Kris. She sees how erratic he’s acting and is most concerned about her daughter’s brand. She’s also trying to be a good mother-in-law, so he’s having explosive issues with her too.” While nothing is set in stone yet, fans of KimYe are hoping that everything works out well between the influential couple.
