1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy Slaton has posted a new video after losing 115 pounds in weight loss rehab, and fans are loving it!
Tammy Slaton from 1000-Lb. Sisters took to social media to give her fans a glimpse of her new look after 115 pounds weight loss. In the video, the reality TV personality is seen flashing a peace sign while living in weight loss rehab.
“That’s right Tammy, get up and walk it off!” One of her followers wrote in the comments section. “You can do it!” the follower added.
Tammy. 35, has been staying in a rehabilitation facility in Ohio for quite some time now. Moreover, she managed to shed a whopping 115 pounds during her stint in rehab.
She moved to the rehabilitation facility back in Nov. 2021, following her hospitalization for carbon dioxide poisoning. Doctors had to put her in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator citing her condition.
This frightening incident was documented and aired on Jan. 31, during the 1000-Lb. Sisters season 3 finale.
The medical team performed a tracheostomy after Tammy was off life support to surgically make a hole in the front of the neck and into the windpipe, as per a report by Mayo Clinic.
Another fan wrote, “Wow, looking great!!!” In the post, Tammy can be seen wearing her trach tube.
“I’m so happy you’re still at rehab and working on yourself … So many people are rooting for you! Can’t wait for you to get your surgery and start your new life!!” the fan added.
1000-Lb. Sisters Amy Halterman Makes Her Instagram Return
On Feb. 22, Tammy’s sister Amy Halterman returned to Instagram by sharing a series of new selfies of her pregnancy with baby No. 2. The 34-year-old reality TV star and her husband Mike Halterman, are expecting another son in July 2022.
In the meantime, 1000-Lb. Sisters viewers are hoping to see the Slaton sisters in another season. However, Amy has admitted that she hasn’t signed the contract yet.
“I’ve been on the show for three years. At first, it was easy, but now that I have Gage, it’s like he doesn’t want me out of his sight,” she told The Sun.
“I feel like I’m being a bad mom when I’m at work. He’s always at granny’s when we’re filming and stuff. I feel like I’m losing valuable time.”
“I don’t really want to do another season because I’m pregnant, it’s just a lot,” Amy added. “If they cut down my hours, I’ll probably be fine. But last season, I was working every day for weeks, plus renovating a house, plus Gage, plus Tammy, plus my mom. It was just a lot last year.”
