In Sunday’s new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, Yazan and his American fianceé, Brittany, have been struggling to cope up with their cultural differences throughout the season but the situation has deteriorated due to Yazan’s family’s acceptance of their relationship.
Yazan’s parents want the couple to tie the knot as soon as possible because of their religious beliefs and for her to convert to Islam. However, Brittany is reluctant regarding the conversion and is still married to her estranged husband.
Yazan’s parents initially gave their blessing for Yazan and Brittany to take more time to get married but now they have reversed their decision after looking at Brittany’s social media accounts, particularly, when they saw a few revealing photos that she posted.
In Sunday’s episode clip, Yazan had a chat with his friend Mohammed. Yazan said that after Brittany traveled to Chicago to complete paperwork for her divorce, he had a tête-à-tête with his father regarding Brittany wherein his father condemned their relationship.
Yazan added that his relatives sent revealing social media photos of Brittany to his father. He further explained that his father told him that she was playing with him and if he wanted to marry Brittany, he could no longer work for him at the fish market and also kicked him out of the house.
Yazan said that he spent the first night at his uncle’s place and then had to stay on the street for two days after which he rented an apartment and looked for work. He told Mohammed that this had been the most difficult time he had ever been through.
Yazan’s father had a problem with Brittany using social media and told Yazan that people were going to ask if she’s a wench.
However, Brittany said that she had no hard feelings for Yazan’s parents and she loved them. But she was reluctant to convert to Islam as she felt that conversion should happen for God and not for a man. Watch this space for the latest 90 Day Fiance news and updates!
