In a recently surfaced clip from Sunday’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Kenny, and Armando have found out some heartwarming news.
After Kenny moved to Mexico to be with Armando, the duo has been planning to tie the knot. However, their marriage license application was denied since they were a same-sex couple.
In the clip shared exclusively by ET, Kenny, and Armando acquire a letter from the human rights office in Mexico and try again, despite being nervous. Armando nervously tells the clerk that they have a letter that grants them the right to marry.
Much to his delight, Armando finds out that he no longer needs the letter. “We got an official letter from the State, where they informed us that same-sex marriages are going to be like any marriage,” the clerk explains. “Yes, and I can now tell you, we are on the other side.”
Armando’s daughter, Hannah is also in disbelief. She has an adorable reaction when her dad reveals that he and Kenny will be able to tie the knot. 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way airs Sundays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on TLC.
“Growing up here in Mexico and being from a conservative country and never thinking I can get married, and now being approved,” he said. “It’s an amazing feeling,” Armando told the cameras.
