90 Day Fiance: The Other Way stars Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh have faced a lot of challenges together, including opposition from Sumit’s parents Anil and Sahana.
While the couple will be divulging more details about their lives together, and the challenges they face before tying the knot, 90 Day Fiance fans rely on the couple’s Instagram account for other daily updates. Taking to her Instagram account earlier today, Jenny posted a short clip of her opening a box of her favorite Indian food, biryani.
“My love for biriyani 🍲 Indian food is so delicious and full of flavors,” she captioned the clip using hashtags #indianfood #briyani and #musttry. The clip has S.A.D Record•Briyani (feat. Buddah Excess, Judah, Tafara The Hug) playing in the background as Jenny opens the box of what looks like delicious biryani.

90 Day Bares All host Shaun Robinson recently caught up with the pair. The new show is streaming on discovery+ and features participants speaking unfiltered. The last we heard about the pair, 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way was that Sumit’s parents refused to accept Jenny as their daughter-in-law.
Sumit got divorced from his wife during season 2, but Sumit’s parents have still not accepted their son’s relationship with Jenny, who is one year older than Sahana. The couple did some research and found that they can get married without their blessing in an “Arya Samaj” temple wedding, but Sumit insisted on getting his parents’ approval for their union.
Jenny and Sumit made their appearances on 90 Day Bares All on discovery+ recently, along with Anil and Sahna. Robinson asked the pair about the status of their marriage plans and Jenny’s visa. Jenny has been living in India on a tourist visa, which lasts six months.
Much to the relief of Jenny, she was not allowed to leave the country due to the coronavirus pandemic. She kept getting an extension on the visa, which is why she is still there. ‘Every month, a new extension,” Jenny says in an interview earlier this week. It is worth noting that if her tourist visa expires, and if authorities refuse to give her another extension, Jenny would have no choice but to leave India.

The host reminded Jenny that she can stay in India if she ties the knot with Sumit. “So why don’t we just do that?” she asked. Jenny explains that Sumit doesn’t want to separate from his family, and looked at him as she said this. Sumit, however, didn’t seem bothered.
Shaun then brings Sumit’s parents into the picture, asking them about their feelings on the subject. It is hardly surprising that their feelings haven’t changed a bit with Anil admitting that Jenny is a “very good lady” but then talks about the age difference.
Anil points out that Jenny will turn 75 in the next 10-11 years, and there will be no one to take care of his son. Jenny tells the camera that she is in better health as compared to Sumit’s parents, who are around the same age. Stay tuned to WittyScoop for the latest 90 Day Fiance news.
