Varun will play Govinda’s character in the film, while a new face will reproduce Chunky Pandey’s part in the film’s spin-off.

David Dhawan’s 1993 blockbuster Aankhen is set for a redo, and repeating Govinda’s part in it is the performing artist’s brazen fan, Varun Dhawan. Filling in for the accomplice in-wrongdoing Chunky Pandey, is a newcomer found by the film’s maker, and CBFC boss, Pahlaj Nihalani.

The first twosome Bunnu and Munnu (Govinda and Chunky) are however anticipated that would assume cameo parts in the film which is booked to go on floors in the last 50% of 2016.

While an official declaration of the continuation is anticipated, a source near the advancement said, “Aankhen 2 will take the story forward. The main characters Bunnu and Munnu will remain the same but the actors will change.”
