Sister Wives star Janelle Brown is enjoying a trip to Portugal – her first trip outside the United States in more than 30 years.
Janelle Brown and her sister are currently enjoying a trip to Portugal. Notably, this is the first time in 30 years the Sister Wives star is traveling outside the United States.
Much to the delight of her fans, Janelle assured them she would be sharing several photos as she tours the European nation.
In her latest Instagram post, the 52-year-old reality TV personality that she’d be traveling to the Mediterranean Region, courtesy of her work as a Plexus Ambassador.
Janelle Brown Treks Across Portugal
Taking to her Instagram account, Janelle shared a short clip of the view from her hotel in Portugal’s capital with the caption, “LISBON, PORTUGAL!”

“First international trip for me since 1987 – 1988,” she adds. The fan-favorite polygamist revealed how she earned her trip and promised her followers a lot of photos from the adventures.
Further in the caption, she wrote: “I qualified for an all expense paid trip with Plexus in a contest last year and here we are ? Stay tuned for lots of photos ??”
Janelle’s video gave her fans a glimpse into the landscape below her, showcasing multiple buildings in the city. Interestingly, Janelle landed in Portugal on the day the country celebrates its freedom.
For those who are unaware, Carnation Revolution, or Freedom Day takes place in Portugal on April 25. It commemorates the country becoming a democracy, as per Monsters & Critics.
“And today of all days! We celebrate freedom in Portugal today! Enjoy!” one of her followers wrote. “Yes, we are seeing some of the celebrations from our hotel!” Janelle replied.
Janelle Shares Multiple Photos From Her Trip
Making good on her promise, Janelle shared a slew of photos from her trip on her Instagram Stories. In one of the snaps, Janelle and her sister posed aboard a Tuk Tuk before exploring Lisbon.
“My sister is my travel buddy for this trip,” Janelle captioned the photo. “Seeing the city via Tuk Tuk on this very rainy day,” she added.
In another photo, Janelle posted a picture of her coffee with the caption, “Morning coffee European style ?”
Earlier this week, she went on to add another pic of her lunch for the day. She shared a pic of her lunch atop a red-and-white, checkered table cloth.
