“The Duchess’ visit was a brilliant way to celebrate the impact Project Fearless has made over the last three years, introducing the girls to an accessible role model who is making a difference and using her voice,” Project Fearless founder Mérida Miller said.

The former Suits actress has long been an advocate of women’s rights. She became a United Nations Women’s Advocate for Women’s Political Participation and Leadership in 2015.

Further, she traveled around India with World Vision and met girls and women facing the consequences of the stigma surrounding menstrual health.

To recall, the Duchess hosted a roundtable discussion with Girls Inc. and the National Women’s Law Center that allowed young girls to speak about the “breadth of challenges their generation is facing at this moment,” according to a statement on Archewell’s website

This year, Meghan and Harry offered grants via their Archewell foundation to four organizations that work to promote gender equity.

She visited Project Fearless to mark the third anniversary of the nonprofit celebrates. “Safe, supportive spaces like Project Fearless allow girls the opportunity to express themselves, build each other up, gain resilience, and tackle new challenges,” Meghan said in a statement.
