It’s been more than a year since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the United States and the rumor mill began churning out all sorts of speculations.

Last year, one report suggested that the royal couple wants to renew their vows in America. In May 2020, New Idea reported that the new royal wedding is coming now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have stepped down as royals and moved to Los Angeles.

A source told the outlet that Meghan and Harry wanted “an intimate ceremony with their closest friend and family,” in California to balance out the highly publicized wedding in the U.K. in 2018.

The outlet also suggested that the couple was planning to appear on the Canadian reality series I Do, Redo. “This will symbolize a brand-new start for them both practically and spiritually,” another source said before adding that the royal family would see it as “just another insult.”

The speculative piece even suggested that Prince Harry and Markle would “host a big, star-studded reception” for their Hollywood friends as soon as the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted. The outlet claimed their hypothetical wedding redo is “typical of their tone-deaf mentality.”

Gossip Cop described New Idea’s contradictory and absurd claim as ridiculous. The tabloid claims the couple wants an intimate ceremony but wants it all over Canadian television.

Since the report was published a lot happened with the royal couple. They are currently expecting their second child. Recently surfaced reports indicated that Markle is forgoing a baby shower citing coronavirus concerns.

Some other reports suggested that the couple is throwing a 1 million dollar shower which will be graced by guests like Oprah Winfrey, Beyonce, and Serena Williams.

Considering Markle and Harry do not plan to throw a party for their second child, they will likely not throw a party for themselves.
