Great news for the Schwarzenegger family as Katherine joins the momma’s club! Katherine Schwarzenegger has finally given birth to her first child together with husband Chris Pratt. While the couple didn’t announce the news themselves, Katherine’s younger brother Patrick Schwarzenegger confirmed the news.

The 26-year-old said that “they’re doing great — just got her a little gift,” as he left a market in Santa Barbara, California, on Sunday. The reporters congratulated him as he became an uncle to which he showed thumbs up as acceptance.

He revealed the gift he brought from the market that was decorated with a pink colored ribbon. However, he didn’t mention if the gift was brought for the little one or his sister. Pratt’s car was spotted at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Friday afternoon.

Katherine’s father Arnold Schwarzenegger and her mother Maria Shriver were also spotted at her house. Her siblings Christina and Christopher also snapped outside her house. Arnold was as usually seen with his signature cigar as he headed towards the parking area. In April, a source revealed that Katherine and Chris Pratt are expecting their first child together.

“Chris and Katherine are extremely happy to be pregnant with their first child,” the source said. “The couple knew going into their relationship that having kids together was important to them, so when they found out the news, they were extremely happy. Although Katherine was busy promoting her book at the beginning of her pregnancy, she now has time to be at home and get things ready for when the new addition arrives. Chris is so excited.”

Katherine showed her baby bump a couple of weeks back with her husband. The source disclosed that the couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in June. “Chris and Katherine have had an incredible first year of marriage. The couple plans to celebrate their first wedding anniversary with something small as their baby is set to arrive soon,” the source said.

Considering the coronavirus pandemic, the insider revealed that the couple enjoyed their pregnancy together. “Chris and Katherine are thankful for their alone time recently as it has allowed them to enjoy the pregnancy together, giving them a forced sense of time to relax and prepare. They know their baby is coming soon and can’t wait to welcome their new addition,” the source added.

Schwarzenegger’s family is extremely excited about the good news. In fact, Arnold Schwarzenegger appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a few months back and spoke about the news.

“Think about this for a second… there’s three gene pools that you can do. There’s Kennedy, there’s Schwarzenegger, and Pratt. We can do anything. We can go and solve the Cuban missile crisis… We can go and train dinosaurs. I mean, think about it!” Arnold said.
