Charlize Theron proved that wearing a mask doesn’t require you to hide your sense of style as she held a drive-in screening of Mad Max: Fury Road in Los Angeles on Friday.
One of the most effective ways to restrict the spread of the still-raging coronavirus pandemic is wearing a face mask but doesn’t have to cover your sense of style as well. Charlize Theron showed what can be worn with a mask during her appearance at a drive-in screening of Mad Max: Fury Road.
The 45-year-old actress sported small, as well as statement pieces. She sported a 14K black rhodium and diamond Huggies from EF Collection, Walters Faith 18K rose gold, black rhodium and diamond ring, and 14K yellow gold, black onyx, and diamond pendant from Retrouvai.
This drive-in screening of Mad Max: Fury Road served as a fundraiser for Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project, and was held on top of the parking structure at the Grove mall. The customary arrivals line was replaced with one single shutterbug that captured celebrities in their cars as they drove onto a large piece of the red carpet, Variety reported.

“Get as close as you can to the window,” he said. Moreover, there was a video station that could recreate a green-screen sequence from the movie for eight seconds. Attendants directed the guests to their socially-distanced parking spots, with over six feet distance between each vehicle, and advised them to remain inside, turn their headlights off, and tune into 89.1 FM for the night’s audio.
There were 90 cars, and the tickets for two people were $1,000, but the quests were not allowed to mingle. While checking in, guests were given a tote bag with popcorn, a bottle of Icelandic Glacial Water, a bag of Sour Patch Kids, and Caruso hand sanitizer (from the owner of Grove). They received another tote bag comprising cans of alcohol-free Heineken 0.0, while the Prepackaged dinners from Edoardo Baldi and Blue Ribbon Sushi Bar & Grill were boxed.
