Bombay Barbeque Buffet Review
It’s been a long time since I have tried any buffet after Wild Dining Buffet Review. So I decided to visit Bombay Barbeque which is located at Khar (at just 10 minutes distance from carter road).
Staff: The staff is excellent. I requested them to show the buffet choices before starting and the girl showed me around was really sweet and polite (Girl being sweet to another girl… mind blown!!! just kidding). Apart from staff members let’s talk about the ambiance.
Ambiance: The ambiance is really cool to be in. The setup was nice. The LIVE GRILL on the table which made the atmosphere great and eating even more pleasant and happy as the inner kid was happy to see something cooked right in front of you.
Food: Let’s come to the main part, Food. Unfortunately I need to be brutal here and write that, the place was good, the staff is excellent but unfortunately, the food failed to impress me.
I chose the buffet, the serving was great they didn’t let us wait for a minute but when the food doesn’t taste good then how many rounds you can do? Though the grills were nice.
The chicken was fine, the fish was okay. The best part was the dessert I suppose. They served a small cake (maybe 250 grams, apart from buffet dessert) which they parcel later for you to take away. That’s where I felt worth paying the amount.
Price: As per the overall experience is concerned, it wasn’t worth spending on it. It was Saturday night, hence the buffet price was INR 1,199 and obviously, you need to order drinks separately though I ordered Virgin Mojito and a bottle of water so the total bill INR 1400 with taxes.
Review: I will NEVER really recommend this place to any foodie who understand good taste, bad taste and tasteless food. My rating will be 2.5 out of 5.
