Bang Bang Review - Spending Money Or Wasting ItBang Bang: A remake (Official) of Hollywood movie “Knight and Day” which was about 110 minutes, but Bang Bang running time is 156 minutes! When the movie is an official remake why don’t filmmakers stick to the same duration too! because its quite long to watch a movie with no head or tail.

Story: Katrina Kaif (Harleen) lives a bored life with her grandmother in Shimla working as a receptionist in a bank. She meets Hrithik Roshan on a blind date who came there after he has robbed Kohinoor from London. Villains who knows he has Kohinoor are gunning for him and then from that point the nonsense chase begins, which goes on throughout the movie.

Katrina Kaif is in danger because she was spotted with him so from then it becomes Hrithik’s duty to take care of her and himself everywhere he goes. They travel from one place to another and also sing a song at every fancy location while they are in danger.

Advertisements: There is a lot of Ads in the movie like Pizza Hut, Mountain Dew etc. The hero was also made to drink Mountain Dew and had to say the tag line clear and loud, “Dar Ke Aage Jeet Hai”, terrible brand placement.

Locations & Rides: Obviously makers of the film have pumped in a lot of money for shooting in various places like Shimla to Abu Dhabi to Greece. The hero is seen using every mode to travel from formula one cars, speeding bikes, sea planes and even boats. But if all these things could made an entertaining movie then it would have been worth but unfortunately the makers couldn’t understand the difference of spending money and wasting it.

Acting: As Hrithik Roshan was just expected to keep running from one place to another, don’t expect any great or different acting from his side, though he looks good but thats nothing new. There was a very little that Katrina would do in her silly role.

Music: Music composed by Vishal and Shekhar is below average. Some songs are shot well and are catchy but over all it doesn’t make a mark.

Final Verdict: If you want to watch a film with two good looking stars running and jumping around senselessly for 156 minutes then you must go and watch Bang Bang.

Suggestion: Watch Bang Bang on Television someday and save your “hard” earned money.
