They filed paperwork to divorce in a Georgia court on May 26. As per the couple’s statement (via Insider), they had been separated since April 27.

“On or about April 23rd 2022, the Defendant withdrew from the Parties’ joint business account over $257,000.00 of the Parties’ joint funds and transferred it into an account in the Defendant’s name and her sister’s name,” Jimeno’s attorneys said at the time.

The court documents filed on Thursday reveal why Everett is seeking a divorce. These reasons include adultery, physical domestic violence, and mental pain.

To recap, Everett met Jimeno in his native Dominican Republic. The pair got engaged there before he moved to Atlanta to live with her.
