Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who propelled to skyrocketing popularity after portraying Mahendra Singh Dhoni in 2016 film M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, has committed suicide at his home in Mumbai. Rajput, 34, was found hanging at his home in Bandra earlier this morning.
Some of Rathor’s friends were at home when his body was found. The door of his room was broken, and he was found hanging. Initial police reports suggest he was suffering from depression for about six months. The actor’s friends told Aaj Tak attributed this extreme step to depression. The police did not find a suicide note near his body.
The beloved actor grabbed everyone’s attention on the small screen, playing the lead role in Pavitra Rishta and made his foray into the big screen within a short period. He made his first big-screen appearance with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che, which was a film based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling book The Three Mistakes of My Life.
